Stick with walking, gentle yoga or a beginning pilates class. Water aerobics or swimming is also good.
Do not do Bikrahm or hot yoga!

I love zumba!! But it's a pretty intense work out when your pregnant.  Your Heart rate would be sky high.  I do a prenatal work out..I have an aerobics one which Also does Arms and legs Which is pretty fun and I do a yoga and pilates one as well.  I would start doing that if I were you and don't do the whole dvd just ease yourself into it and work up to the whole work out eventually. And walks are great!! :)))

You don't want to start doing things your body isn't used to. I would stick to light workouts like walking and swimming especially if your body isn't conditioned to exercising regularly. Also start eating healthier, eating whole grains, fruits, veggies and uping your water intake.

Don't start a new workout routine that is intense.  Walking is perfect until you talk to your doctor.  Doing anything intense that your body isn't used to could hurt the baby.

You don't want to over do it, especially since you are not used to working out. Walking is a good low impact workout.  It is also good to focus on what you are putting in your body. Eat lots of veggies,  fruits and brown whole grains instead of white. Stay away from processed foods, they tend to contain a lot of sodium and added sugar. Talk to your doctor, since you are overweight,  your Dr will probably recommend that you gain less than someone who started out at a healthy weight.
