A year later and still no period.

I had the Mirena IUD inserted September of 2011and removed mid October 2012 because it was slipping out of place. I spotted just a day or two with both insertion and removal. but absolutely nothing in between. I started Nuvaring the week after Mirena was removed (per docs orders). I was told my period would regulate its self within a few months. Well, here I am 10 months later after Mirena has been removed and I have yet to even see a spot of blood. I have asked my doctor about it and he says "just feel lucky you don't have it." I am going to a new doctor in three weeks. Has anyone else went this long without getting their periods back?

just an update, went to a new doc today, she also thinks that not having a period is an issue. found out some good and bad news though. good news: cysts are gone. Bad news: inflamed fallopian tube. I am going to stop BC all together and see if I can get my periods regulated and then see where life takes me!! Good luck to all with their pregnancies or those TTC!!

WOW! I am getting worried about not having a period anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love not actually having it, but I feel there is something wrong here. My husband and I are wanting to have another baby and honestly I feel that it is going to be a struggle. Hopefully I can get better answers from the doctor this time around! Thank you for your response!
