AM I PREGANNT OR IS IT BECAUSE I STOPPED MY PILLS?

I was given expired birth control pills (by about 2 months) from my GP and took pills for the very first time. It didn’t stop my period and instead I bled for about two weeks. I stopped taking the pills a week into the bleeding. I had sex for the first time a few days after I stopped bleeding and of course with a condom. We did it a few times after also with condoms. However I’m meant to have my period but it has not come. Is this a side effect of my body trying to get back to normal because of the pills or am I pregnant?

None of this sounds right.  Why did your doctor give you expired pills?  While they still may work, that's not really how sample packs of pills are to be used and that's not really helpful of him.  Sigh.  Did you get instructions on what day to start your pills?  Normally, it is started on the first Sunday after your period begins. But then you stopped taking it.  I'm confused . . . were you taking it for birth control/ to prevent pregnancy?

You never took it for the whole time or regularly so it wouldn't be working.  BUT< you used condoms which as long as they didn't break and were used properly, should prevent pregnancy.  

You are likely late because you altered your hormonal balance briefly by adding the pill for a bit.  This will throw things off and being late would be a normal reaction.

Hey, thanks for the reply. The GP told me to start taking the pills the day I got them- a week before my period was due to start. I was taking the pills to skip my period but I stopped taking them about 2.5 weeks after because it didn’t stop my period and I bled about a week straight after I stopped taking them as well.  Would it be the pill throwing off my hormone balance?
