Am I even pregnant ?

Somebody please give me clarity or at least peace of mind....I had a positive hpt 10 days ago, but then 6 days ago I started spotting which I attributed to implantation bleeding until the blood turned bright red and just won't stop. It's heavier than a normal period but no cramps etc. I went for an U.S and the nurse said there was "something small" but she couldn't say if it was the remnants due to miscarriage or if it was just too soon to see anything. I have to wait other week before I go back but I think I'll be crazy by then. Did a Clearblue hpf today and it said 1-2.

Do you know what your DPO you are on? Did you miss your period before you got a positive HPT? When a CBE digital says 1-2, it usually means 3-4 weeks pregnant. Which would be the week before your period is due and the week it is actually due. Id request a HCG Beta from your doctor along with the ultrasound.

Thanks for your response. Yip, missed period and did first HPT after I was 4 days late. Yes I thought it was strange that the CB said 1-2 when I worked out that it should be atleast 4-5. This is my first pregnancy so thanks for explaining.
