Am I pregnant? I can't tell. Help!

Ladies, I need help!
I am 21 years old and had unprotected sex (stupid, I know) and I am NOT on birth control. My last period was on December 24, 2011 (Christmas Eve) and it lasted 7 days (as usual). My period previous to that was on December 3, 2011 (also lasted 7 days). I am very late! Today is January 30, 2012! I have had really bad acid reflux, I have been tired, my lower area has cramps but not period cramps, my lower back has been hurting, and my breasts feel heavy.

I have been a bit stressed and I am hoping that stress is the problem here, but I am worried that it is not =/ I have taken 2 tests within the past week and they were both negative.

My period is pretty regular and I can usually tell when my period is coming but this time I just don't feel like it is! Ideas? Please help o_O

In Dec. I was 4 days late, starting my period on the 24th, now I was expecting to start it again on the 24th of Jan. but it hasn't came. I too share some of your symptoms. Tiredness, back ache, and heavy breasts. I even have been getting headaches, though I'm not sure if that's due to lack of coffee or not. I'm moody and I've gained weight. Normally being between 125 to 130 ish, I weighed in at around 140ish yesterday =/  Hopefully I am pregnant. testing tomorrow!

I suggest you test asap and like everyone above has said, keep testing until your either get a positive or get your period. Or just go to your dr.

Good Luck :)

I am 34 weeks pregnant and I took a test when I was 3 weeks pregnant. I am not lying either. Lol my doctor was even stunned that the tests came out right. I think the brand of pregnancy tests have a lot to do with it! Cuz I tried the cheap ones and they said negative and then I bought some better ones and they said positive. I got the first response ones FYI. Lol good luck! And I think it is a very high possibility! :)

Or just go to the doc and request blood work.

It may be too early to detect the pregnancy.  If I did my math correctly you're just over 4 weeks.  Take another test (like AnnieBrooke said) but if it comes out negative and you still don't get your period, take another in a few days or a week.  I've heard of some women not getting a positive until they are 6-8 weeks along.  It's rare, but does happen.

Best of luck to you.

Take a sensitive or early-results test, with first-morning (concentrated) urine tomorrow morning or the next morning.  It's all you can do unless you want to go get a blood test.
