Am i pregnant?

I have an irregular period. In June I was supposed to get it last week, but instead got it 1st of July. So I assumed I will get it again around 1st of August. I had protected sex on 19th and 21st of July. I got my "period" 6th of July. But the few days after that, I'd wake up every morning, check to see if I got my period, and when I didn't, I'd start stressing out, I'd look things up online which makes it worse, I then feel like throwing up. I got a pregnancy test on 5th, came out negative. When I found out, (still haven't gotten my period), I felt grand. I noticed brown discharges along the way, got my "period" on the 6th, it was heavy for 2 days, then gradually stopped on the 8th. I took another pregnancy test on the 8th and it came negative again. Am I just being paranoid that I am pregnant?

Ya, the internet is great but can increase our worry about things too.  You have to balance it.

You are pretty young.   Honestly, periods are late all the time for a variety of reasons including stress, illness, weight gain or loss, changes in routine, etc.  Since you had protected sex, it is doubtful you are pregnant. When pregnancy occurs while a condom is used, it is usually because of a condom break that you'd notice (they rip big and it's messy).

I would try to relax.  I sincerely doubt you are pregnant.  If in doubt, you can always take a test 2.5 weeks after the last sexual encounter.  You'd have a positive by then.  But really, you are likely just late.

And my anxiety levels were so high because of this, would you say this affected the length of my period? My period usually lasts 4-5 days and today is my fourth day and it stopped. I've just been so paranoid. My friends think I'm going crazy. I'm only 18 and I don't think I want to tell my mam about this. Please help!
