Can I be pregnant while using nuvaring incorrectly?

I have been using the ring for over a year and a half. This past month in December I exceeded the three weeks on the ring and took it out on week 4 on a Sunday. I usually get my period 2-3 days after taking it out. I got my period Tuesday night(Wednesday morning) dec 20. I then ended my period on Sunday 24th which is the day I’m supposed to insert a new ring. I forgot and inserted the ring on Wednesday 27th. I had unprotected sex on Friday the 29th. Could I have been ovulating? And could I possibly be pregnant if it was only 3 days later then when I was supposed to insert a new ring.

You will need to test.  Not using birth control correctly is why they have a failure rate.  Since you surpassed the time frame, you did risk pregnancy and should test.  Two to three weeks after the last time you had sex should give you a positive test if you are pregnant.  good luck

The only real fool proof method of birth control, is to not have sex- even with correct use, there is some failure rate of the ring, so it's certainly possible that you could have gotten pregnant on the 29th.  Although, it's likely you are not- so many things have to happen at just the right time in order for pregnancy to occur.
