Could I be pregnant?

So, here's my story/issue & question: Found out I was pregnant in July & had some health issues & Dr suggested having the baby would likely cause serious health problems & suggested it best to not go forward with it, so the decision was made not to, which broke my heart. Well, a week after having the procedure (to end the pregnancy as the Dr said) I had sex & he pulled out & has been every time we've had sex since. Well, I had bleeding for about 2 weeks after & my pregnancy symptoms seemed to go away about a week after. Then about 3 weeks after that procedure the symptoms seemed to come back. I was really lightheaded, dizzy at times, had a couple times of being nauseous, craved cheese nips all the time (& a couple other food cravings, but these like all the time), breasts were tender/sensitive, lots of bloating every time I ate or drank anything, and at times a slight bit of pain/soreness in my lower stomach (hadn't had any at all since the day after the Procedure) & at times my lower back kinda hurt/was sore. About a week later my lower stomach hurt on the left side & all across the bottom, so went to the ER & they did urine test, blood test, ct scan on my lower stomach. All came back normal, said they found nothing. Said the other health issues the dr had found were not present either & basically other than my sinus issues & not being able to eat sugar/corn syrup without getting very jittery/sick, said everything was normal (other health issues from before seemed to be gone - though I'm a Christian & did pray for healing...looks like I was healed from that). Period was supposed to come last week, didn't.Couple days ago had very light spotting a few times, then today it looked like bleeding like my normal period was starting so put on a pad & again a bit of spotting. Symptoms of pregnancy still present & lower stomach/back soreness/cramping. Could it be pregnancy & just too early to have shown on tests at the ER? If I am pregnant & take another test after the bleeding stops would it show positive?

Was this a surgical abortion?  They are very clear that there is a post period after this in which you are not to have sex and it is generally 6 weeks.  This is mostly for your healing internally.  And, I'm sorry to say this, but why are you having unprotected sex after pregnancy that you couldn't go through with due to health reasons it would interfere with?  That's not good decision making.  Condoms are not expensive.  I have no problem with elected or health abortion either one as I believe a woman has a right to choose---  but it should be a good sign at that time to be very careful regarding a future unwanted or unviable due to health concerns pregnancy.

anyway, in terms of persisting pregnancy symptoms after an abortion, that is normal.  Your hormones go from pregnancy hormones to no baby and it takes a while for them to adjust back.  Being irregular after an pregnancy/abortion is also quite normal.

I'd wait a full week and take another pregnancy test.  No reason to go to the ER to determine pregnancy or not.  This was not an emergency.  So, wait and see.  good luck
