Could I be pregnant?

I had my period December 9th and my cycle is 40 days long. I had sex with my December 20th, and after a while I began to feel different. I am peeing more often now and I feel nauseated. I have headaches and back aches, and my feet start to swell slightly when I stand for long periods of time, they also throb a lot. I gained a pound, and I have had more trouble then I usually have falling and staying asleep.

Well, based on this information of your cycle, Dec 20th would have been early to conceive, however, sperm lives for several days so maybe.  You have a longer than usual cycle which means you ovulate later on a regular basis.  However, never say never.  See if your period is late.  I highly suspect you are NOT pregnant.  Symptoms early on are usually scant.  And they can often overlap with symptoms of pms and a period on its way.  When is your next period due?  You can take an early detection test around 4 days before your next period is due.  When I do the math, your period is due around now.  So, you can test now.  Let us know!!!
