Could I be pregnant?

I had my period on the 13th of december and it lasted for 5 days and had unprotected sex on the 18th, had another one on the 22nd where my bf came outside just near the top of my vag. I think I'm experiencing pregnancy symptoms such as breast pains and some very very light cramping. I have quite long cycles, the longest is 35 days and the shortest is 30 days. I'm worried even though I still have like 2 weeks before my next period. Could I be pregnant? Or am I just being crazy? Your response would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there.  Well, having unprotects sex is always going to put you at risk for pregnancy.  No matter when in your cycle it occurs. Sure, there are more fertile times but you don't know when your body will have an unusual cycle and predicting inaccurately is how a lot of babies have been brought onto this planet.  :>)  So, ya. However, with that said, you'd not really have any symptoms yet.  Pregnancy symptoms happen because of the hormones from the growing fetus and it takes some time for those to build up. This is why things like nausea with pregnancy don't start until week 6 or 7 on average. You'd be so newly pregnant with either of the times you had sex that you'd be unlikely to have any signs of it. My first signs of pregnancy were that I was a little tired.  It's very subtle for most women.

You can get a positive pregnancy test 2.5 weeks after your last sexual contact. So, kind of keep track of it that way and just take a test.  I'm guessing that it will be negative. While you had a risk it sounds to be off on timing for the first episode and not full penetration for the second.

You may want to consider getting on the pill so you don't have to have this worry in the future.  I know it is hard to be afraid!

This put me in so much relief. Thank you so much for responding! Will sure be updating you as soon as I get my period. It sure is hard to be afraid so I'm definitely not going to risk being unprotected again.
