since you have an irregular cycle. you can get ovulation predictor kits from the drugstore. they will help to tell you when you are ovulating..
I would try downloading an app, I have period tracker. For your ovulation though I would track everytime you have extra discharge this way you can set the settings on the app, it's been really helpful for me I too have irregular periods every 31-39 days, hope this helps
