I think I may be pregnant but I'm bleeding really lightly.

So I took a test and it came back faint. I was bleeding a really light pink colour for 2 days. And recently it's got thicker and added discharge. However I've been using tampons so I don't get dirty while working. I'm only 17 so it's confusing me and I'm not sure what to do. Can me using tampons lead to an early miscarriage or problems? Someone please help me ASAP.

Hi, when you say you got a faint positive, did you follow box directions exactly?  A second line can appear if it sits too long ( an evaporation line).  I'd take another test to confirm.

No, a tampon will not cause a miscarriage.  Some women spot in early pregnancy.  Or it could be the beginning of a miscarriage/chemical pregnancy.  How late are you for your period?

I'd take another test today or tomorrow ---  let me know the result.
