Okay, I know that the answer will probably be to follow up with my doctor. I have an appointment on Thursday. For te past 3 weeks, I've had extremely sore breasts, severe fatigue, pelvic cramping, nausea, food/smell aversion, and I'm almost a week late on my period. I went to the ER this afternoon, because of some sharp pelvic pain. I've had the Mirena IUD since 2015, and needed to rule out ectopic pregnancy.
Yesterday morning, and today as soon as I woke up, I got consecutive positive pregnancy tests. However, my qualitative blood test in the hospital was negative. Also, on my ultrasound, my husband and I could CLEARLY see what looked like a gestational sac next to the Mirena. It was about the shape and size of a round seed (smaller than a pea, though). The radiologist said my uterus is empty, but there was 100 percent something in there. Even the nurse said that answer sounded fishy. Any thoughts??
