Is this my period or implantation bleeding?

I am 29 and have PCOS. My periods have been regular the past couple months but I just started tracking ovulation. On March 1-3 I had Egg white cervical mucus... which I believe means I ovulated. So that means my period should be around the 17th. I started spotting on the 12th, 13th and 14th were light bleeding (dark red, light pink (very wet but not thick), no clots and an some brown blood. And the 15th was spotting. The blood filled up maybe 1 pad in 4 days. I have never spotted before. I am now 15 days past ovulation and have testes negative. Should I wait to test again or trust it was my period?
Doctor won't give me blood test

Hello.  Cervical mucus isn't a great way to tell what is going on.  I tried to conceive for a long time and that just wasn't accurate.  Another way that is undeniable is to take your temp.  You have to chart it over a couple of cycles but once you have that going, you will absolutely know if it was your period or not.  Basically, your temp goes up noticeably  around when you ovulate.  It will stay up until right as your period is about to start and then it goes back down and stays down until you ovulate again.  If the temp stays up and never dips back down again, that is indicative of pregnancy.  Mine stayed up two times and both times I was pregnant.  You can get a cheap thermometer and keep it by your bedside. You take the temp before you even get out of bed and write it down.

So, in this instance though.  My guess is you are probably not pregnant. But wait a full week and then test again if your period hasn't come.  (the normal period you usually have since you seemed to do more of spotting recently).  PCOS makes things difficult with a woman's cycle. Do they do anything for the PCOS?  Do you take metformin for example?
