NovaSure Ablation and Pregnancy Symptoms

Short hand version of the story.  I had periods that were leaving me anemic every month so in 2011 with diagnosis of a genetic disorder I didn't want to give to a child anyway  my Ob/gyn agreed to do a Nova Sure ablation. No tubal ligation. I have never had a period since. Met the love of my life two years ago, we became sexually active, he uses condoms because I have a high rate of women who have stroked out with birth control in my family.  After a winter of no sex because of an injury he had in February, we had a marathon on May 1 and didn't think to use condoms. Now foods that usually cause no problem for me smell vile and make me want to hurl, foods I love taste awful and I want nothing to do with them, but I can't get enough salty things. My breasts are bulging out of bra and are really sore, my moods are swinging back and forth like kids on a tire swing over a lake on a hot summer day, I'm peeing all the time, and I need a nap every single day! Oh, and migraines my doc and I have had under control for two years are coming back with a vengeance. Little voice in me says girlfriend your pregnant, and honestly though I never have been, I have this "feeling." So, it's been a month since the day we possibly conceived would a home pregnancy test be okay to use this early. I have no idea how to start. I don't want to go to the doctor and say I think I'm pregnant without something besides my gut feeling. Maybe I'm just off my nut too. :-/
