Ovulation later, period later? possible

I missed period on the 31. Took first response test today got neg. have some preg symptoms like vaginal tugging feeling and a pinch on the left ovary which made me jump.  Nauseas. I get sooo cold i get chills .Still no period tonight. Could it be i ovulated later and thats why i cant get a positive yet? It pushes ur period date too? Anyone that knows please tell me.

My last period was 12/31/2013.  I think I did not ovulate on the 17th as my app. indicated. but after like on the week of 22 or 23. I took a Walmart First Step .88 cents test yesterday and it was negative at noon, I feel nauseous. I know that if you ovulate later your period runs later too. How long should I wait? I would be only about 11dpo -12 dpo today. No sign of AF yet.

Sounds odd but try a dollar store test. I kept getting neg results and then bought one from there and got three pos in a row. Good luck!
