Pregnancy after c-section

I had a baby by c-section about 5 1/2 months ago. I think I may pregnant again. I took 4 home pregnancy tests and 3 of those were positive.  I went to the doctor and they said the test was negative. How early is too early to get pregnant after a c-section?  Are there any complications that go along with this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I just had my son 7 months ago and I'm pregnant again! I was really surprised it happened so soon. I'm really scared because I to had a C-section and heard about complications. I'm also not experiencing any pregnancy symptoms and that worries me to the point of stress mode!!!! I had a miscarriage before my 7 month old and I'm scared I can have another one just because I'm not feeling anything related to being pregnant. Is there anyone else going through this as well? I just need some piece of mind. I currently don't have anymore insurance, so I can't just run to my doctors to see if everything is ok. But my plan is to get back on insurance so I can see what's going on inside.

I had a baby January and she passed at birth, I too want to try to conceive as soon as I can, but I do not know when I can start. I am scared of uterus rupturing. One doctor told me I can try again after 6 months, but another doctor told me to wait 18 months. Good luck :)

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I lost my daughter on July 5th, 2012 at 38 weeks. It was my second csection. My OB said to wait 3-4 months, but my perinatologist said to wait 12 months. This has left me very confused, so I have decided to take it in my own hands and do a lot of research. Have you found any answers?
