If you have had a period then you are not pregnant. But you need for a test. thank for sharing such a wonderful post...

Even if you've never had them before, breast tenderness can occur any time. Hormonal fluctuations can make them sore. If you've had a period then you're not pregnant - that would be for last month, so that wouldn't explain the sore breasts last month. If you've missed a period this month, then obviously it's possible and you'll need to take a test to see.

Sorry for not been specific in my last post but here's some better details...
my breast tenderness started about a month ago. I thought it was PMS so i thought it was normal even though its the first time i get breast tenderness as PMS. After my period i keep having breast tenderness so i started thinking it was ovulation but since my ovulation ended about 2 weeks ago i have nothing else to blame. I also started feeling queesy a few days ago and my nausea stays through out the day. I also started Most of the symptoms i mentioned in my post throughout this past week like vj discharge very emotional food cravings also my nausea, breast tenderness &mood swings continue so im just trying to figure out when to take a HPT:)

It;s not due to pregnancy if they start a week after your period ended. You can't be pregnant and still have normal periods, and you can't be pregnant a week after finishing your period or get symptoms right away either.

A week after your period is usually when our bodies are gearing up to ovulate. This happens mid cycle for most women, and then after ovulation we get our periods 10-16 after. You need to be having sex leading up to ovulation to be able to conceive. You can't take a HPT until at least 2 weeks after intercourse (ovulation), or wait until your period is late.
