Pregnant? Stress?

Hi all. I'm on day 46 of my cycle. My last cycle was 37 days. My LMP started on December 27th. November and December were extremely stressful months, and my cycles were "off." However, January was a very good month, with a lot less stress. Those months I do not believe I ovulated, as I did not experience a positive OPK or consistent CM.  I have given up on pregnancy tests, at least at home, as they have been negative. I did have a faint positive, which could have been an evaporation line, as it was the only positive out of 8 or so tests. I went to the doctor 5 days ago, and their test was also negative. Its now day 46, and no period. I've been having off and on minor cramping for the past 4-5 days, no bleeding. Some minor breast tenderness, fatigue and increased heartburn noted over the last week or so. I do not intend to ask you guys if I'm pregnant. I merely would like opinions or experiences. Has any one skipped a period? Has anyone had negative tests and were pregnant? I have a followup urine test on Wednesday. If that is negative I plan to ask for bloodwork. I had a miscarriage (blighted ovum) March 2012. My periods were fairly regular up until my stressful months in Nov/Dec. Usually 30-32 days, with my period lasting 4-5 days of light to moderate flow. Any ideas? Experiences???? Thanks Ladies!

I haven't had the blood test yet. If the test on Wednesday is negative, then I will ask for the blood test. Again, I will ask for experiences and outcomes. Thanks all!

well I hate to say it but if the blood test came back negative then you are not pregnant. Since it is able to pick up the tiniest amount of hcg in your system. I think that you should go talk to your doctor about your irregular periods. I was in a similar situation and my periods all of a sudden became wonky so my doctor decided to put me on the pill to get it back on track again and 7 months later I ended up pregnant.
