So, you don't mention when you had unprotected sex.  We can get pregnant any time in our cycle but there are more likely times we'd conceive. For most women, that's around day 10 to 9 to 15 of their cycle (with cycle day one being the first day of your last period). Symptoms are not too helpful early in pregnancy because most women don't really have much if any and they are so subtle and mimic other things.  Nausea starts around week 6 to 7 of pregnancy for the average woman because that is how long it takes for the hormones of pregnancy to build up enough to cause it.  So, don't worry about your symptoms.  You may have had a wonky period.  I'd wait and see what happens next time you are expecting it.  It is doubtful you are pregnant unless you tested too early.  Those tests are very accurate.  We can be late or have a weird period because of stress, weight gain or loss, changes in routine, illness, etc.  If next cycle is also weird, check in with your doctor.  You can normally get an accurate pregnancy result 2.5 weeks after you had unprotected sex.  good luck and let us know!
