Ttc and running

My husband has been running for a while and we want to run together. I have gone running a few times with him early in my cycle. I know some people who ran while pregnant but they were marathon runners and such. I am a few days from my expected period. Can I run if I think I might be pregnant or find out I am pregnant? Right now I run very short distances. And only til I get winded because I have asthma so I don't want to get an asthma attack. It's too hard to run for two weeks then take two weeks off. I work out by the way on an exercise bike currently and do sit-ups and push-ups.

Thanks. I want to stay healthy for my someday baby's sake. I've also heard staying in shape before and during pregnancy can help a lot.

Yes you can run. Lots of women keep up their exercise routines until their belly gets to be in the way so to speak. As long as you are not starting a new routine just because you find out you are pregnant. But there is nothing wrong with continuing an exercise routine.
