bleeding 10 days before period is due

hi i was just wondering if anyone can help me ,i had my last period on the 18feb2012 so my next period is due 17march2012 yesterday 7march2012 i went toilet and noticed dark red blood only when i wiped not heavy enough to wear a tampon or towel im not quite sure if its my period or implantation bleeding, iv never had implantation bleeding before so i dont no what to expect im still bleeding today which is only when i wipe now i dont no what to do can anyone help me ???

Generally implantation bleeding is just a light light light pink/brown dot in your discharge or when you wipe, it's usually not dark red, and it's not very common to get implantation bleeding. I would wait til your period is due, if you miss it take a test, if you have ongoing spotting I would see your OB/GYN! Good luck!

I started spotting today. I am hoping it implantation bleeding. There is a tiny bit only when I wipe not enough for a towel.
