I think I am pregnant, I will be visiting the doc tomorrow to do my check up. I also want to know how will I know how many weeks pregnant I am even if I can't recall my last period date? And secondly does the ultrasound gives that much information?

An ultrasound around 10+ weeks gestation is more accurate at measuring from crown to rump...the sonograpeers can work out how many weeks pregnant you are from that alone. Of course it isn't entirely accurate to the day, but it is enough to go by.
