im so confused

ok I had unprotective sex with my boyfriend on Dec 18, 15 had my period for only 3 days light now sense then no period..on January 22,15 did a digital test came back positve went to my dr and blood and urine both came back negative but have all the symptoms of being pregnant...so called my dr she did a urine test came back negative and a ultrasound came back with a cyst how ever she asked me if i had pain on my left ovary told her no so i really dont know what to say to that but still no period and it been almost 2 months with out period.......So my dr said she wanted to give me some pills to jumpstart my period but I will like to see if I should wait a lil longer to see or should i just take the pills....What should I do? Im so confused

thanks for replying but I went for a blood test and everything else is ok i went for an additional opinion and the dr said that maybe could be a cyprist pregnancy or something liek that so will wait the month and half that he told me to wait and to go for an additional ultrasound

ty i did and the other dr said it could even be a cyprist pregnancy or something like that and some times the dr confuse a baby with a cyst so im just going to wait for one and half more months and if nothing I will go for one more test or ultrasound

ok I did and the other ob said to wait @ least one more month and go for another ultrasound....and I have a regular period its not like i get it once a year or twice i get my period every month

There are different things that can cause you to skip periods. Mine have always been very irregular and in high school I would sometimes go months between them. My reason was being very underweight I think. Throughout high school, my weight never went above 95 and It would sometimes drop as low as 85. Once I got my weight in control in college, I finally started having them once a month. I knew it was never pregnancy because I was still a virgin.

Other common things that can cause it is stress, illness, different medicines, thyroid issues or early menopause.

Whether you take pills to jumpstart it is up to you, but I would still recommend you try to discover the actual cause if you can because otherwise you will most likely have the issue again later.
