periods are overdue by 30 days.

Hello My periods are overdue by 30 days. I am also trying for baby, i had three home preganancy test and all were negative. I dont know whats going on with me, if there is no period then test should be positive. or there is any other problem with me. is this possible that i am preganant and tests come negative.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you , I'm currently trying for a baby and my last period was on the 11th feb. Have taken two hpt so far and both came back negative. I'm so confused as if I'm not prego then like u said maybe there is something wrong and if there is something wrong could it stop me from having a baby .I'm due on again tomorrow so going to give it another few days and see what happenes , if nothing then I'm going to book a doctors appointment . Have you seen a gp yet ?

im not a doctor but i have kinda had the same problem recently.... your pregnancy test could b showing a false negative... or ur hgc could not be strong enough. I would recommend u take a blood test at ur doctors office. as far as ur period goes it could b late because of a change in ur daily routine like excerising, or eating habits, have u been stressed lately bc that could also be a reason y u wudnt come on. I dont think that this would prevent you from getting pregnant

i was due on again yesterday but so far no signs of a period . I've had some tummy cramps , sore breasts , heartburn and some discharge through out the last couple of weeks but not really thought much f it . i was told that the GP wouldn't do anything until i had missed 4 periods but surely this cant be right ? I am going to wait and see if anything happens over the weekend if no change then i will ring and book a doctors for Monday just a little confused as nothing major has changed for my periods to stop or be missed .

I don't ovulate so my cycles would be anywhere from 22 days long to almost 60 days long.  I never knew when my period was coming.  If you're pg the HPT will be positive, not if you miss your period.  It's possible that the test hasn't picked up on your HCG levels yet but if you have taken more than one test it's highly unlikely.  HPT are extremely accurate and should have picked up something by now.  Make an appointment with your doctor to get some bloodwork done and to find out what's going on.

As for missing four periods, I know back in the day a doctor wouldn't see you until you've missed at least three periods.  It's rare today but some doctors still practice that way.  I would find another doctor if I were you.

Took two tests early this morning and got two positives :). Been to doctors and she confirmed but because I've missed two periods we gotta wait to see the midwife to find out how far along I am . Am anywhere between 4 and 9 weeks

hello vickyjohn , did you ever get a bfp? and busybee how long did it take for you to to get your bfp? I am on cd 50. I may just make an appt, but then again I feel maybe better to wait a little longer in case AF is just VERY late.
