pregnant but still have period

Okay soon my lmp was feb 24, 2014 & it lasted until March 13, 2014. That last day began my fertile period. I had sex with my boyfriend the next day unprotected, for 3 days. I ovulated somewhere between the 13th & the 18th. On the were 0th of March I had pain in my lower left side where my ovaries are & my nipples became sore. After that I experienced nausea, my boobs extremely sensitive, & peeling, very thirsty, & last Thursday my period was supposed to come but instead I had chills, mood swings, & cramping below my belly button. That night I craved soy sauce.  I also had spells of hot & cold. My period finally came on the 30th. But now I'm having heartburn, back pain, frequent urination. Could I be pregnant?

LadyManns,  I think you need to see a doctor.  You had bleeding for 3 straight weeks there that you called a "period",  and now you have fever and chills and body aches.  I'm not sure either one of these bleeding episodes is a period.

It does seem unlikely that you're pregnant but it would confirm that you aren't if you took a test.

But I think you need medical attention for your symptoms.

If you feel you may be pregnant take a test or get blood work done because it is possible to have a period and be pregnant

You can't be pregnant AND have a period. Not possible - light bleeding yes, but not a period.

PMS symptoms, or even illness, mimic the symptoms of pregnancy.
Also, do you periods normally last for 2 weeeks? That's a long time.

Periods bring on a lot of the same symptoms as pregnancy, including body aches, soreness and cravings. The only way to be sure is to take a pregnancy test it go to a doctor.
