what is the difference between period , spotting, implantation bleeding

hey what i am wanting to know is ok i got a really lite period on the 14th of may and it went away after 3 days. where as i am normally very heavy and lasts about 6 to 7 days.  then about 12 days later after that i had dark read discharge that only lasted about 2 hours but was very lite. then today i got a lite pink discharge. what is the difference between the three and what am i having. Please help.

Hi  , I have a story to tell plz help me, I got 1st pregnant  on Aug 16 2014 I confirmed I was 4 weeks pregnant and when I was 7 weeks pregnant I had some bleeding and it was miscarriage on Sept 12th 2014 and a DNC was done on Sept 13th 2014. Then i became pregnant the second time I confirmed on Dec 24th 2014 since my periods were irregular I was not able to find the correct date so we did a blood test and fount I was 4 weeks pregnant on Dec 30th then another hcg test was done on Jan 4th 2015 and found the HCG level were reduced and they did a US and found no baby in my utres then on Jan 0th Bleed very badly and had a miscarriage. Doc inserted a capsule in my utrus to clean and did a US and found everything was clean and no need for DNC, i had i bleeding for 8 days then i got my periods on Feb 14th 2015  but was was not a regular period but I spotted for 10 days. Me and m husband had unprotected sex 3 times but my husband was sure that he didn' come in , but now my perioda are not coming my last periods stopped on Feb 21st till today I didn't get my period and also i had  bright red spotting on 19th march and again on bright red spoting on 20th march and today i had dark red spoting. am afraid to test. if am pregnant am afraid if i will loose my baby again and if m not pregnant hat is going on... Plz advice

Hi, I need some serious advise - me and my partner had sex for the first time in 3 years, we did not have protected sex but he pulled out before the climax, but I took a morning after pill because I heard that you can still get pregnant through pre-***, is this true? The morning after pill flipped my monthly period totally off track which I understand. We had sex again but right after that I started bleeding? Could this be my period or is this abnormal? I bleeded for 3 days heavy but my cycle is usually 5-6 days. What could this mean? I took a HPT and the result was negative. We started to have protected sex. It happend this friday and the saturday afternoon I started bleeding, firts it was a dark dark red and then tonight (Sunday) it was a light light red. What can this mean? Please help ASAP.

Hi I been having the same as you! I'm 10 DPO and yesterday started a light period. I didn't expect my period until the 20th but it started on the 15th. Lost hope of being pregnant :( I have all the symptom but a negative test and a light period. I was hoping it is to early to test and the bleeding is from implantation. Your experience has giving me hope! I wish to know more details about your light period or implantation bleeding. Thank you!!! :)

Well my period is late by 2 days ( it was due on the 10th Feb) and 3 days before my period is due, I started to had light spotting on and off for 4 days and today it's been more heavier but not heavy enough for a pad/tampon.. But it's lasted most of the day and it's light pinkish/ red! I have had unprotected sex with my Fiance at the same time I ovulated! Is it implantation or period? I'm so confused? i have always been regular 28 day cycle always on for 6/7 days very heavy.

If I had intercourse the day before ovulation day, 10/19, and have had light pink discharge a few days ago, and a lot more than usual vaginal secretions, sore breasts, and spotting but not a period on the 26th with little nausea.  I also started my new pack of pills 3 days after I was supposed to start them. Could I be pregnant? I missed some pills prior to my period and during my period and had sex on the 14th and had sex on the maximum fertility day and also on the 23rd. My period was supposed to be here on the 2nd and none yet. It's the 6th and I still haven't got it. I took a test on the 4th but was negative. I don't know what to make of this. Is this just me stressing out causing it to be late? Or me being paranoid? Please help!

i am soon to be 20 on the 25th of september i had a D&C back in july on the 26th 2011 my fiance and i want to try again for a bby so july 26th to august 9th 2011 my bleeding stopped august 24th to the 28th 2011 i had my cycle. 13 days after i spotted for 7 days sorry for the (TMI) at first it was a very scant pink then it went to red the last day it only lasted for just a second and hat was a my DR. visit to do an HCG blood test but it came back negitive. i was the pose to have my period by today from what my DR. told me but i have not had it yet. is there a chance of me being pregnant because i am sexuly active and him and i did the bby dance while i was supost to be ovulating. i have taken pregnancy test but they only meausered 25miu/ml and it came up negitive
