when should i test? could i be pregnant

Hi my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 7 months. My period isnt due for 9 days but im wondering how soon i could test? We had sex and then the next day i was extremely nauseous and vomited after eating. And since then I have had a lot of nausea, bad headaches, tired and very irritable! I had one day that i had some blood when i went to the bathroom (but only had it happen once), and had some cramping. I have taken one test that was negative. If i am pregnant how soon could i test? And do you think i could be pregnant?

Confused now... still no period, but took a hpt today and another negative. :( I know everyone says to wait another week and if still no period take another test. Wondering if I should just go have a blood test?? Any thoughts/suggestions?

Still no period!! A little scared to take a test cause I don't want to see another negative!! Thinking I should wait a couple of more days just to make sure Im not just a little late due to stress lately...

My period should start any where from today to Monday! Happy to say no sign of it yet! Praying it doesn't show up and we finally get a positive hpt!

Thanks! I tested again this morning cause I couldn't wait... another negative :( I agree I hate that the symptoms are so much a like. Today I've had sore breast, lightheaded, and irritable. I told myself today that I wont buy another test until I miss my period... 8 more days! I'm trying to tell myself now that I've had 2 negative tests and that these symptoms I have are my menstrual cycle so when it comes I won't be so let down yet again. I hear from all our family and friends how we should have kids and it's really starting to get to me. I haven't told anyone that we are trying cause then I'm afraid it will make things worse. All my siblings have kids and had no problems conceiving. It's starting to take its toll on me! Thanks for letting me vent!

They First Response u can test up no 6 days before your missed period.... Or either wait til you actually miss your period. Once I thought I was tested and the very next day I got my cycle. Bummer, I hate that pregnancy and menstrual symptoms are so similar. I wish u all the best!!

Thank you im having some symptoms but all this negative test are bringing my hopes down. With my first I tested like 8 times until I got a positive

Thanks veronicamommysoon and sorry for loss! Im just starting to get frustrated cause we haven't been able to conceive yet and yet im excited cause im having all these symptoms telling me i could be pregnant! I know i need to be patient (plus i don't want to waist money on hpt) but its hard! Good luck to you!

It depends with my first babe I coincide july 24 but didn't got a positive until august 15th. (Misscariage nov 18) now I haven't got a perdio since January 30th and I tested and is a negative so im waiting until the 15 to see if im prego. Good luck
