1st ultrasound results

So we had the 1st ultrasound this afternoon. I'm 6w1d gestational and before we went in for the u/s I asked the doctor about what he thought about me getting a positive on CD 32 and perhaps having a late Ovulation. I was trying to get his opinion beforehand so I would know whether I should be concerned or not. He said that with what my HCG levels were on 7/27 and 7/29, he expected I O'd later and therefore he expected I'd be a lil over 5 weeks now and he wasn't sure we'd hear a heartbeat. I was still so worried about not seeing a yolk sac, ectopic pregnancy, blighted ovum, Gosh, the list was endless but they saw the yolk sac and the lill bean (what do you call it this early?) and said I'm exactly where he thought I'd be, about 5w3d or so. So...he wants me to come back in on Wed and expects to see the heartbeat then. I had a few chances to double check and make sure he didn't forsee any problems and he said so far, everything is perfect! So, I"m going to go with that and do my best to stay calm till Wed. I've made it this far and everytime i've been nervous or worried, things worked out (HCG levels, yolk sac) So i'm staying optimistic!!

Wow, you are lucky to see a sac and yolk at 5 weeks 3 days!  I wonder if my OBGYN's equipment isn't as good as yours since sounds like you're seeing an RE?  We saw an empty sac at 5 weeks 4 days and yolk at 6 weeks 1 day but still no heartbeat.  I didn't think this sounded good but she said it's totally normal and I have no reason to worry.  Yet I'm worried...
