Getting your prenatals down

So my chiropractor has me on these all natural whole food prenatal vitamins, I have to take 6 a day.  I play a game with myself...every time I walk into the kitchen I pop a pill.

So how are your pre-natals treating you all?  I am so "backed up" OMG, I wanna go potty so bad, but I have to wait until my body says "OK TIME TO GO" now I can pee like a champ!

Any of you having pre-natal vit. issues...choking down 6 pills a day is a lot to ask anyone, oh and anyone on here have gastric bypass like me prior to getting pregnant.

SIX!!! Thats incredible! I just take one a day! & thats hard enough for me to remember. Every night I have to ask myself if I have taken it or not bc I can never remember. I just take mine with a meal & have had no trouble yet but I also dont have mornig sickness.

WOW! Six pills is a alot! I don't think I could do it. Why does he have you taking so many? Is it because their natural whole food vitamins? I will admit, I don't know the difference. =) My pill is just one big fat horse pill. Their ok right now, but I know once morning sickness kicks in it will be hard to keep them down, at which point my doc said it is ok to take flinstones kids vitamins. And I know what you mean feeling "backed up"
It's mainly because of all the iron in prenatals, it makes it hard to "go". My doc prescribed a stool softner (not a laxative) that supposed to help but it really just makes its worse in my opinion. Try a different prenatal, one with less iron***
