Itchy & Painful Nipples

Hello Everyone,

I'm not sure if anyone has experienced itchiness or pain in their nipples but in the last 2 days I have experienced this and have no clue on how to find some relief to any of it. Yesterday, while in front of my computer @ work, my nipples began to itch and I couldn't resist the urge to scratch them. Today, after I showered, I experienced pain for about 2-5 minutes on my nipples...The pain comes and goes. I had not experienced anything like this since I found out that I was expecting and I'm not sure if it's due to hormonal changes. Can someone please share with me if they've been through this before and what have they done to get some relief?... I appreciate any feedback given.

Thank you in advance.

I've had to stop taking my usual scalding-hot showers because of this problem!  They're itchy because they're drying out.. try using stretch mark butters on them too (that's what's worked for me so far)...
I've been getting it on my legs every time that I shave too... two days of intense itching and flaking.. even with the intense moisturizing cream!  Glad that winter is coming and shaving just wont have to be an issue.. *grin*

My nipples have been itchy the past few days as well, and they almost seem like they have dry, slightly flaky skin on them.  They do hurt more when its cold (although I look like its cold even when its not!) I'm worried about how big mine are going to get too...I started out between a C and a D and now I'm already almost a full cup size bigger...not boding well!

I just got back from being outdoors...and it's a bit chilly outside....Strangely enough, I began to feel the pain on my nipples again...but once I walked right into the warmth of my home...It went away....I know that ones boobies are suppose to hurt b/c it's apart of the hormonal changes...I'm a D cup...and I've already began to wonder how big they will grow to be...LOL....I'm just not sure about the nipples...LOL...I hope it's normal....Thank god I have an appointment with my GYN on Friday...I'll get to ask her then....  :-)

Good luck to you...Wish you the best!!!  :-)

I had itchy skin all over during my last pregnancy...

Now this time my breasts hurt sooo bad.  not really the sipples, but the entire breast.  They feel sooo big and heavy, which is ironic cause I'm barely a b cup.  haha.
