Baby Kicking

So I will be 20 weeks on Thursday and last night when I got in bed I think I felt the baby kick. This is my first child so I'm not sure if it really was a kick or if it was some other thing that happens during pregnancy (seems like there is a never ending list of weird things that happen lol).

Can anyone maybe describe what their baby kicking felt like??

I started feeling the bubbles at about the 18 week mark and this is my first. When I started getting the kicks though at about 19 weeks its was totally obvious what it was. Unfortunately they only happened at that time like maybe 3x day....as time progressed, they started to happen more frequently (when lying down and in the car) and i was able to think about it a little more....than at about 20 weeks I saw a few kicks pop out of my belly. Now I am 21 weeks and this baby is a dancin up a strom in there I feel it most days a different times for short periods at a time. You will know when its a kick vs a possible gas bubble - but mine did start with the bubble feeling and then switched to kicks and it was AMAZING!

to me, it feels much like you think it would. like literally distinct movement. it feels kind of like bubbles popping inside you, or like a ball of worms. I bet that was what you were feeling, you are right there on the time line when most first time moms feel  kicks. it's cool when it's your second or third babe, because you can feel it earlier ... i am almost 18 weeks and i swear i've been feeling kicks and jabs for nearly 3 weeks. It does kind of feel like gas in your belly, but as it keeps happening, you'll be able to tell the difference. congrats!
