Paternity issues for child due 4/11 -4/17 Please help

Hi,

My GF recently told me she was pregnant.  The issue is I found out after about 6 months!!  I moved away from the city where we live in on June 22, 2009 to relocate for a job.  She told me she hasn't slept with anyone but the dates of her conception do not match when I was their last.  I saw her u/s and it read this:

12/7/09  LMP= 7/9/2009   Due Date = 4/11/2009  22wks 4days

21wks  Due Date = 4/17/09

Is the second date how far along the doctor actually thinks she is?  When I use a conception calculator and put in the Due Date it says she would have conceived between July 15-23.  I left the city on JUNE 22nd and didnt return until September.  Is there a chance that this child isn't mine.  I've been asking but she is firm on it's mine but the dates just don't match up.

When I put dates into the conception calculator June 22nd to June 29th the dates as soon as I left.  It says here Due Date would be March 18th.

OK, I hope this helps.  As mine is an IVF Pregnancy, my dates are spot on.  My lmp was July 19th, my retrieval was on Aug 4th and transfer was Aug 7th.  My due date is Apr 26th.  Technically the conception date is Aug 5th per my IVF schedule

Okay My due date is April 19. And that showing that me and fiance concieved July 19 Which was on the Sunday.  So like everyone else saying on here just wait until the baby come and do a DNA. And it up to you to do your part as of now going to her appointment and helping getting thing for the baby. And if she had slept around she need to woman enough the be honor with u. She gotta see that she bring a baby in this world and it not just about her anymore and yall relationship status, this baby need a dad in it life. Good luck and keep it posted what happen with you.

Yea it *****.  My cousins wife is Due April 19th and she says that she conceived towards the end of July as well.  Around the 20th's of that month.  It ***** to have to just wait it out b/c it just consumes my mind all day everyday.

  I am due April 20th and I think I concieved around the 18th to 20th of July...but.... I guess you may just have to wait and get a paternity test...Which I would definately do because a baby may need the dad's medical history one day....I really hate that you even have to go through this...

Exactly my thought.  And if it wasn't right I think it would have showed that she was further along than what it calculated after she had given her LMP.  The doctor would be like 3wks off.

you said her lmp was in july which means she had a period after you left. Lmp is last menstrual so unless this is wrong it doesnt seen probable to be yours considering you left in june. My Lmp was 7-2  and i was originally due 4-9 untill an ultrasound dated me a few days later.

RIght So if the Doctor adds two weeks that makes her 19wks which is even further off.  The conception calculator gives a range of a whole week.  From June 22 to the 30th.  Her 40wks would be March 19th.  So a two week range would be the End of Feb or the very beg of April max and would mean that she would have had to been more than 19 or 21 or 22wks as of Dec 9th.

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I have to tell you that those conception date things don't work.  I tried punching in different dates to get the date I know I conceived and it was way off.  Your sperm could live 48 to 72 hours.  She might have actually conceived a few days after you left with your sperm still in her body and she might have ovulated late in her cycle.  Her eggs could have been hanging around a few days too.  Because I watch the Maury show anything could be possible.  I have seen men deny the paternity to find out they were the father.  This seems far out but maybe you can take her on the show for a lie detector test, but remember she is pregnant and needs as little stress as possible.  Also remember and I know this is confusing, but when docs tell you how many weeks you are pregnant they actually add an extra two weeks because they go back to the date of your last menstrual cycle.  Good luck and keep in touch.

As everyone, myself included, said in the other forums, if you haven't had sex with her since June, it probably isn't yours, but if she still says it's yours, you need to take a DNA test when the baby is born.
