Pretty and unique girly names

hey, I was wondering if anyone wanted to help pick out some girl names. I'm no good at it, lol since my other two children are boys.

I know I want a girl name that is uncommon, preferably one that is long that can be shortened, and I tend to like the names that start or end in vowels. for example, I really like the name Arabella Rose, but I also like the name Scarlet Fiona.

any ideas?

I despise common names ... my name is Becky and I graduated highschool with 29 other beckys ...

I have an Arabella Marie and still love her name!!
By the way Arcadia is a town in Oklahoma famous for it's "red barn" along route 66.

Other favorites we had picked out...

Hi, we love old fashioned names so we are naming our daughter Evelyn Amala, after both our grandmoms.  I call her Evvie for short and DH calles her Ava (don't know where that came from)

thanks everyone!

alot of the names you all suggested were already on my list, lol.

my hubby doesn't like Arabella but the more I think of it the more I want it, lol. He wants to name her Arcadia Jade. I do like Jade, and I do like the "A" names, but not too sure about Arcadia ... not to mention the rest of the family doesn't like it either. I tried to point out to him how many ppl on here were in favor of Arabella and the typical man he is mumbled something about, "don't care 'bout what other people think" go figure.

I am definitely a fan of unique names. I was so prepared to have to draw from a hat if we were having a girl, but since we're having a boy, it's suddenly become much easier!

These are the names we were debating on if it was to be a girl:

Gemma
Sloane
Apple (as a middle name. I know it sounds bad, but i love that apples are wholesome, of the earth, a sign of education and health ,etc.  I promise we're not hippies either!)
Reece
Arden
Aiden
Maron (pronounced Mar-ohn)

I hope these are helpful!

We've chosen a name of a relative that was born in the 1600's in Ireland and going with my middle name.  Honora Eileen.  Honora is very pretty and not common at all.

I love Arabella!

A great friend of mine who's due in April as well is going with Annabelle  :D

Scarlet is always fantastic.. I also really love those in that gem or colour theme... Lavender, Emerald, Ruby, Opal..

Since I'm a chef, I'm also partial to the food-related ones too.. I'll be using Sage as my little girls middle name!

Arabella is beautiful. Some names I liked that DH didn't were Sophia, Amelia, and Abigail. Some of the older outdated names are beautiful. We had to pick two girls' names... I love the first we picked, the second is okay but DH won't pick anything else. lol.
