What do you know about the Aries baby?

Hi all March/April moms--

I am due on April 1st, so will have an Aries baby.  I am wondering, for fun, what others think of the Aries personality, or what you know about it?  I am not a zodiac follower per se, but I am intrigued by some of the correlations between the sign and personalities.

Just thought I would see what you all thought . . .
Also, I AM SO EXCITED FOR US ALL!!!

Thank you all so much for your information!  In terms of choosing the sign when ttc, I was so ecstatic when hubby said ok to trying that I did not think too much of the sign they would be born under--except Cancer, as my mum is one and gets my goat.

Anyways, thank you again for your insights, and congratulations and good luck to all of you!  I look forward to hearing how your pregnancies progress . . .

PS tryinfreedom, I'm just curious why you didn't want a Taurus?  I'm a Virgo so I always thought a Taurus would be a good one...

My sister's 4 year old is an Aries, my mom is an Aries, and several of my friends are Aries.  Here's what I know:

They are definitely strong-willed, confident, energetic, and determined (they ALWAYS go after what they want) and not shy.  They do not like to be told "no", they hate to be criticized, and they can throw temper tantrums.  My sister broke down crying recently because she found herself at a loss in dealing with her little Aries child.  They can certainly be starters/not finishers, but that also depends upon the rising and moon signs.  My friend who has Taurus in her chart is much more grounded and responsible than my mom who has Pisces in hers.

I personally was really sad I didn't think about sun signs before we ttc and got pregnant the first try with an Aries. I absolutely LOVE Pisces and wish we'd tried the month before.  (Aries are loyal but they're not nearly as sensitive, intuitive, and empathetic as Pisces -- in fact, the negative is they can self-centered; they're generous with their money, etc but the world does revolve around them - they're going to do things the way they want and when).

I'm sure you will love your Aries no matter how he/she wears you out!

A Natural-Born Leader

If your Aries son or daughter was born ahead of schedule, it should come as no surprise: Aries children are always pushing ahead of the pack. With an "Are we there yet?" outlook, they are impatient to arrive and get started already!

Aries children possess a passionate, creative, and restless nature. They seem to have more energy than other children, with a vitality that's matched only by their natural bravery. Their "me first" attitude can be a challenge for anyone who has to contend with their high spirits and frequent self-absorption.

Legendary for their straightforward honesty, Aries children tell it like they see it. They can overstep boundaries because they're naturally impulsive and tend not to look before they leap.

As the parent of a young Aries, you're probably no stranger to epic temper tantrums. Yes, Aries children have a hard time keeping their emotions under control, but there's a positive side to this: They don't hold a grudge. Once the fireworks are over, so is their anger.

Since Aries children are great at starting grand projects but not as keen on sticking with them, you'll need to be patient as you guide your child gently but firmly, helping her stay on track.

Also make sure she gets plenty of exercise. Any vigorous activity will be an excellent outlet for her energy, and if it's a competitive sport, so much the better. But be sure she wears a helmet or any other essential safety gear. In their eternal hurry, Aries children tend to be accident-prone.

Hi, you should consider yourself very blessed to be having an Aries child, I almost cried when I thought I would have a Tauras which is my husbands horoscope. My first IVF failed however, now I am pregnant with triplets and my due date is April 11th.
Aries are fiercely loyal people! Try to be honest and true in all things, dependable, charming and will not stand for any injustice to those close to them. Mommas babies all the way. An aries child will ALWAYS be by mommy and daddy's side 30 40 years from now when other children will only think of their life. Aries are very giving and considerate by nature, BUT will not stand for any mischief directed at them, when angered or hurt they can be very unforgiving and this is simply because they do not intentional hurt or harm anyone.
I could go on and on but the most important thing is: They are not vindictive, hurtful, storytellers, but loyal, loving people who will always be by your side. What more can anyone ask?
Hope this helps and Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!

My due date being April 23rd, I think mine will be a Taurus.
By my sister is an Aries. And if I had to say one word to describe her, it would be stubborn! They have a lot of good qualities about them, being generous, helpful, determined, ect... but they can also be very arguementative and bossy! =)
