is this normal?

Hi i went for a scan today as i had some light piky bleeding only when i wiped an i jus wanted to see if all was ok...i am roughly 6-7/7-8 weeks pregnant.. the nurse sed she could see the sac an the embro an fetal pole but there was no heart beat and i have been asked to go in for another scan next week...is this normal at this stage or should i be worried..?

okay wel wen i wen 4 a scan on dec 3 they sed i was 5-6 weeks so its been moreless 3 weks since then so ld roughly b say 7 weeks 5 days 2day....so im guessin the heart beat would b visible by htis point...ive also had more beedin today not alot jus a lil spottin but i know no bleeding is good...

There is a big difference in 6 weeks or 8 weeks at this point. I would try not to worry because if you are at the 6 week mark, it may just be too early to see a heartbeat. Take care and keep us posted.
