yesterday was quite possibly the longest day i've had in like 10 years. I had been having pretty painful chest pain right in the middle of my chest for nearly four days when yesterday I got tired of it and called the OB/gyn. All I wanted was to see my doctor, in a small office. But no, they told me chest pain of any kind needs to be seen in the ER. Granted, it had been keeping me up at night and I lost my appetite altogether and had been vomiting for a few days, but I didn't want a big scene over it.
I was there for 8 hours!!!!!
chest xray, ultrasound of the legs, blood work, pokes and prods, needles and needles and more needles ... all to come to the assumption that I was experiencing SEVERE ACID REFLUX. The ER doc's brilliant excuse as to why I couldn't identify that myself?? I'M CARRYING A GIRL, AND GIRLS ARE DIFFERENT FROM BOYS, which is the only experience i had. Wow. so after all that, I get to buy zantac and go home. The zantac has worked beautifully, lol, but that's beside the point.
why couldn't MY doctor tell me that in an hour's visit? grr
I was just wondering if anyone one else has had frustrating bouts like the one that happened to me yesterday that have to do with baby. I really did need to whine a lil, lol
