Due Date today
So here it is, my due date. As I am a VBAC patient baby needs to come in the next day or so or I will be scheduled for a c section next week. Medical induction is not an option with VBAC here so today my midwife has given me a 'labour cocktail' to try and induce labour. I'm about to take my first dose and if nothing happens by lunch time I will take a second dose. Hope to be posting my birth announcement tomorrow ladies!!!!
Grace Olivia was delivered by c section after my labour stalled at 6 cm dilated and baby's heartbeat began to drop. Her big brothers are very excited
Apricot juice, ice, castor oil, almond butter and lemon verbena oil. It's an old midwife labour concoction from Germany. They have to import the lemon verbena as it isn't available here. It can be used once a woman reaches full term.
