jennie - severe upper abdominal pain after eating is something you should let your OB know about - could be an inflamed gallbladder.
It's pretty normal, but it can actually indicate a problem with your gallbladder or even preeclampsia, so if the rib pain is severe you should let your OB know just to be safe. Rib pain is a very common symptom, but because it's tied to some pretty serious problems, it shouldn't be ignored.
Probably nothing, but much better safe than sorry!
I'm having a lot of issues related to shortness of breath lately (I'm 27 weeks today). It takes me forever to clean my house now. I've also had some of the same pains you are describing, too, in my upper torso. If I eat too much, it's extra painful. From everything I've read, this is all normal.
It's normal. I remember a classmate of mine from college was about as far along as you (having a girl, so she was carrying pretty high) and she would frequently get flushed in the face and have a hard time breathing because the baby was pushing on her diaphragm.
Only 25 weeks. I figured as much. Thanks!!! The joys of pregnancy.
how far along are you?
Its just regular pregnancy pains. I experienced the same pains and shortness of breath as well.
