heartbeat monitor

Sooooo... I just bought this "prenatal listening device" from walmart and..... Yea i couldnt fing my babies heart beat.... I kno hes good because he was getting agitated by me pressing on him so much and kept kicking me..... So thinking about taking it back and getting a real doppler.... Any thoughts?

Yes thats very true and really i olny got it because grandma wanted to hear... She doesnt get to go to my appts with me unless its u/s then she makes sure she goes but otherwise she wants me to call her when im at my appts so she could hear his heartbeat so i thought it would be a nice surprise for her but you are right i was doing some research and they are very expensive so will prob keep that one and continue trying

I wouldn't bother buying a real one. Just return the one you have or keep it (since you already have it) and continue to try and find the heartbeat. You will find it sooner or later.They are so expensive and you're 30wks along so you're good! I know it's nice and comforting to hear the heartbeat but you can feel the movements and you know your baby is doing just fine in  there:) However, if you really want to buy one for your own piece of mind then sure why not?!
