pain in my belly button

I am almost 14 weeks and it seems like every time I get up from a sitting postion I have a lot of pain in my belly button...its not a stabbing or throbbing pain..it feels more like the baby is pushing at my belly button..has anyone else had this problem? What could it be? I was thinkin it could just be where the baby is but I'm not sure..

I have that, too. It's reallly sore, but i'm pretty sure it's because I have an umbilical hernia that i've had since my first pregnancy, 12 yrs ago.  :(  It doesn't bother me unless i'm pregnant.  Will definitely be geetting it fixed after this one, as this is the last!  LoL

Hey sweetie

at 14 weeks the baby isn't at your belly button yet

BUT most likely it's the muscles and tendons in your belly stretching to make room because your uterus is pushing upwards and displacing things. It's called round ligament pain and it can happen anywhere in your abdomen and it can feel like anything from a tugging or pulling, a pushing sensation, or even a very sharp agonizing tearing feeling...yuck, lol.

but most likely that's what this is..you've got a few more weeks yet before the uterus reaches the belly button. right now it's just a few inches above your pubic bone :-).

It could be how the baby is positioned, pushing into your abdomine. Have not had this happen to me personally.
