practice breathing

so today at my 37 week ultrasound we got to see my baby boy practice breathing. It was so amazing to see. Just curious if you guys have seen this yet with your babies?

yea i wasnt supposed to get another u/s either but baby is measuring big so dr wants to check size to make sure there wont be any complications  come time for birth ( i have very small frame and plan on a vaginal birth)

I have to go in Thurs. for an us also but I will n getting 1 once a week til she is born due to my age.(41)

The Dr. can usually feel if the baby is in the right position. I can tell at this point because I can feel her butt pushing near the top of my stomach and I can feel the movements on top are feet/legs moving. Plus when the Dr. takes the heartbeat he has to take it near the bottom side of my stomach which shows you the chest is further down and there for she is turned! The U/s I am getting is just to check the fluid levels.

My doctor said I won't be getting any more u/sounds (haven't had one since week 18). I'm jealous! Sounds like such a cool thing to see! BTW, if they don't do another u/s, how would I know if the baby has moved into the right position? That's my question....

I have not seen this yet, but I go in on Tuesday and am excited to see baby since I havn't seen her since week 18.

It was just a regular routine 2d ultrasound. My doc told me this can be seen from 35 weeks on depending on your babies development. Just ask the tech to take a peek at the babies diaphram. Its such a awesome thing to see. Good luck at your next appointment hope all is well :)

i go for ultrasound next wed n will be 37 weeks also. did u have 2d or was it 3d/4d?
