pre term labor

Well ladies I had quite a scare today..I started leaking fluid today so I called the doc and they told me to come to the hospital to get checked..when I got to the hospital they checked me and I was 1-2 cm and having contractions every 2-3 mins..they gave me a shot to stop contrctions and watched me for a couple hours then sent me home..hopefully baby will stay put for awhile longer

Still having some contractions but just trying to keep my feet up and rest..I think this little girl is wanting to come early but she just can't come this early!

Ashleyfife: is everything ok? What did the doc tell you to do?

I posted on the pregnancy 18+ form yesterday about it. :( I think my baby boy is very impatient lol. I had a little water breakage not much though. hope you're okay.

oh, also there is usually disability you can do through the state that covers pregnancy and maternity leave, so look into it just in case!

well take it easy and hopefully your body will stop all the contractions. bedrest would not be fun, but at this point you really want baby to stay put so if you have to you will live through it, but I get it, if I had to go on bedrest  it would not be good for our finances!! Do you have disability insurance/leave? I signed up for long term and short term just for instances like that that.
GOOD LUCK!!

They can't really do anything about me being 1-2cm just said if the contractions start up again to come right back..the doc wanted to put me on bedrest but I kinda argued with him..I told him that I am already working light duty and I can't really afford to be off of work that long..so he told me no lifting and take it easy but if this happens again there will be no discussing it I would be on bedrest...so hopefully baby girl stays put for awhile longer
