Congratulations bgp8196! My first ultrasound appt is on Tuesday haha! I'll bet it was super amazing to see your baby already. And to be going on Monday, to see how much your baby has grown since your 8wk.  I can't wait.. .. I want to see the gender  of my baby!  I hope 16wks is far enough along to find out!

I am due April 29th!  :-)   First one.  Going for second doctor's appointment this Monday.  I had an ultrasound at the 8 week one and heard a strong, fast heartbeat.   I am hoping everything is just as well this time around.   I am a little nervous as almost all my pregnancy signs have disappeared in the past two weeks (aside from being sleepy all the time!).   Anyone else have an 8 & 12 week ultrasound?

I live in California. The Medi-Cal  is a free insurance they provide.  Its actually really great I get to choose a primary doctor. And they give me a lot of help.

awww im sorry i hate to have my hopes up, or expect something, and not be able to have something done.
i dont have a midwife.. unfortunatley because i do not have insurance. im going through a program to help pregnant woman get doctor visits. its called Medi-Cal. similar to Medicaid.

Yes this is my first , how come you have no midwife hun , she scedualed the first but forgot for NT scan which we really wanted, just a shame really,

Aww ur lucky hun too be finding out,and congratulations mslanda1 .I have the most useless midwife I whish I could change but its too late now :( but owell. Anyone geting pressure on there lower back?

So I keep being told that if I haven't felt movement,  it might be a girl.. ? Supposedly girls are ''lazy'' in the belly,  and boys are active.  I wonder if it is true.  I won't find out until the 16th.
