Tell your OBGYN about this. I did and they prescribed me pills that help stop the nausea and vomiting. It doesn't work perfectly, but is a big help. Don't take something over the counter, as it might not be safe for baby. The doc will know what I am referring to.
I'm 22 weeks and have the worst time keeping anything down. It's important you find a way to keep those prenatal vitamins down. It's recommended to take them before bed if you are nauseated. I keep loosing weight but somehow I manage to keep down the vitamins for the most part. Your baby needs those vitamins especially if your not able to eat much.
ThankYou Ladies, I'll Try Those Out. It's Hard When Every Friend That's Gone Through Pregnancy Hasn't Had It This Ruff. :)
Try chewing papaya enzymes with your meals. My midwife recommended it and it did wonders for not only my nausea/vomiting but also my bowel movements and fatigue (vomiting 12x a day makes one super tired). They basically help breakdown your food so you get more of the vitamins/nutrients from the food you eat. I also take probiotics to keep my flora at nice healthy levels in my gut and that helps as well.
Yes you do. From ths moment it hits your stomach it starts the process of being broken down. I was reeeeally sick for a while and sometimes still am. I knew after I got sick I needed to put something back in just to keep SOME nutrients in me at all times. So i would use watermelon (which seemed to really help with the sickness). If I was sick, id chomp down a few pieces.
