I agree with what everyone has been saying.
Also, at 18 weeks, aren't most women, ftm's included, showing, on average?
First baby for me and my belly is the same way, baby pushes everything else up too. Everyone and every pregnancy is different.
Don't worry, your body will do what it needs for you and baby. As long as you are active, eat healthy and your dr isn't concerned, embrace it. I'm sure you look radiant and we are all soo blessed to be carrying a new life inside of us. Good luck and stay positive:)
Thank you mommies I really appreciate your responses!!
This will be my 6Th, but 5 th take home baby. And well with each child I have found you just show sooner. Your body has done it before and everything just knows where to go. So don't worry that your showing now doesn't mean you have gained more or it a big baby. Not saying the baby can't be bigger. But generally it just that your a second time mom and your body just remembers what to do.
I am 18 weeks and have been showing since about 12 or 13. My first is 2 yrs old. I writhed less when I hit pregnant this time. I gained about 30 lbs the first time and she was 6lbs 1oz. So far I am only up 1 lb from prepregnancy weight, because I lost a few in the first trimester. The uterus stretches faster with subsequent pregnancies.
I am 19 weeks with my 3rd.and I having been showing since about 10weeks.my belly is crazy big.my 2nd baby is in kindergarten and I had no baby weight left from her when I got pregnant with this one.i looked up alot of information on it.with 2nd and third pregnancy you can pop alot faster and look alot further along.it probably is baby and uterus. Don't worry in alot of chat sites other women had same issue and lost weight after just fine.:) and I gained 40 pounds with my first and she was only 5 pounds 12 ounces while I gained only 20 pounds with my second and she was 6 pounds 2 onces.your body will gain what it needs to to take care of that baby.and I lost all weight with both by like 6 months after.
I think it's because of your other baby. It wasn't too long ago when you gave birth.
