Baby has arrived :) (Long)

So my due date wasn't until April 28th but due to my high blood pressure I was scheduled to be induced on the 9th at 37w2d. Had to go in for monitoring on the 4th, my blood pressure was in the 170s and I was taking bp meds. So they decided not to send me home again with my bp so high, I got induced that night at 8! I was in having contractions on my own for almost 12hrs only getting to 3cm dilated. I got the epidural around 6am so I could get some sleep. At 8am my doctor came to break my water to see if that would help me progress. It didn't, and on top of that my epidural stopped working on one side of my body. Two words, contractions hurt. At 9am, they decided it was time to get baby out so I had to have a c-section. They couldn't get the epidural to work on the one side of my body so I had to be put to sleep. Didn't get to see my baby come into the world but she is here and healthy! Spent one night in the NICU because the anesthesia they gave me affected her, but she got to come home with mommy and daddy! She's so strong. Born 4/5, weighing 4lb 14oz at 9:53am. I love her! Sorry so long! Good luck to you all!
