Glucose test !

I have a glucose test later at 4:30 & I'm kinda scared of the drink. Lol, I have to drink it all in 5 minutes but I think if I do that I will throw up! Any tips for that? Also I choose the lemon lime flavor & was just told that it was the worst /: there's also orange & fruit punch. Should I switch it?

I just did mines on Monday it doesn't taste bad it taste like orange Fanta soda

I had mine this morning and it was horrible i have to do it all over again next week because i couldnt keep the lucozade down for 2 hours i kept it down for an hour, now i feel poorly.

No one has the glucose jelly bean option? I am not doing it this time but with my first daughter I had that option..may ask the doctor..there are other choices sometimes

Just had my test this week, the drink tastes like kool aid ( mine was not carbonated) and no more difficult to drink in 5 minutes than water. Slight tummy ache/uncomfortable feeling from drinking so much ( I am small anyway so small stomach!) And later in the day I ended up with a headache but one Tylenol took care of it. I was told the drink is equivalent to drinking 2 cans of soda, that's a lot of sugar so that's probably why I got the headache several hours later probably from coming down off all that sugar! lol

I just had mine yesterday at W24.3, got a small orange flavor bottle and it was just like drinking Fanta or a carbonated orange drink. Finished it in less then 2 min and didn't HV any adverse symptoms whatsoever.
People just talk and worry too much about these things. The nurse was telling me that very few if any women feel dizzy or nauseated after drinking it,plus you can also have water between the drink and the blood drawing.  Thank God my results came negative!!!

I have celiac & the drink they had at my office has gluten in it.. So I have to pick up a glucometer, needles, and test strips to test my sugar four times a day for a week. The drink won't be so bad. If you're that worried about the taste, there is the alternative.

This is my third pregnancy and my last was four years ago so things could have changed since then but it was a small bottle of this bubbly orange coolaid kind of stuff it's really not bad at all and five minutes is a lot more time then u would think especially for how small the bottle is now like I said this was four years ago so if things have changed I'm sorry but if not it's not that bad

I get mine in two weeks.  Im nervous too. Good luck :) I would stick with the flavor you picked. I heard it tastes like Sprite.
