Lower back pain!!

33wks & I cannot sleep tonight due to terrible lower back pain, I can't tell if it's because my hips hurt because they need to pop (laying in the same positions at night are wearing on them)  it's going into my lower back tho, it's that or if it's the position of the baby but boy am I over it. My husband is sleeping because he has to be up early for work so I got up for a while and it feels better to be in a siting position. Anyone else having this same issue? Ugh I just want to sleep!!! :(

I use a heating pad on my back. Not helps sometimes and doesn't put the baby at risk since it's my back not my stomach Im putting it on

Yea a heating pad is something I'm def going to pick up tom! It's calmed down a lot so I'm wondering if it may have been baby's positioning. I'm in MO, it's 5am here and I've just been laying wide awake since 2... It's that tired but aching so can't sleep point! Blah!

I'm in the same boat! Went to my ob yesterday because I was so scared about the intensity of this round ligament pain & cramping. So glad I'm not alone.

Not that I wish this on anyone but so glad I'm not alone! I'm 33+4 and hardly sleep. It takes me forever to fall asleep, when I finally do I'll sleep for 2 or 3 hours straight and then up every 45 minutes to hour after that. It's now almost 2 am here and I slept from about 945 to 1230 and have been up ever since. People keep saying its preparing me for when my daughter arrives -and those people deserve to be punched lol. I want to be able to sleep while I can.

OMG! redheadxo ^^^^ that was funny... I'm right there with you on the punch! I'd go for the throat! Lmao! I've been sleeping so bad I told my husband this morning we had to go get a new bed, that and as suggested a heating pad... Lol we literally went out and got a memory foam tonight. Feels great, but I'm still wide awake. I'll eventually pass out about 2:30 ish, it's 1:15 hr now.. Then up every hr on the hr. Never fails..

Yeah my husband and I have a king size memory foam bed. I sleep the same no matter what - a good few hours in the beginning and then up every hour after that. I've been sleeping on the couch lately to ensure at least my husband gets some sleep. When I finally fell asleep last night after making that post I was actually upright on the couch instead of laying down - I slept okay in that position so I might try it again.
