Im going to breastfeed exclusively for first 3 months and then back to work for me so I'll have to pump and bottlefeed breastmilk....hoping to avoid formula but if we have to the only concern is cost as it provides good nutrition to baby as well.
I'm still not 100% sure what we're going to do. I wasn't able to breastfeed my first child. I don't believe there is a right answer. Formula worked for my son and since we didn't have a choice I'm glad it was an option. With this baby I was going to try to breastfeed and see how it goes.
Breastfeeding! I've always known that i would breastfeed if i had a baby. It just makes sense. I took a breastfeeding class and i learned A LOT. I always knew that it's way better for baby and mom then formula but i learned other things also. . Like..If you can. .As soon as baby comes out. . Have them put baby on your chest .. That alone helps the baby. .skin to skin contact asap. . Very important. Then allow baby to find the breast and see how that goes. Sooner he feeds .. The better the chance of him being able to latch. I heard that if you plan to breastfeed that the baby should only breastfeed for awhile .. That way there is no confusion for baby. My hubby wants to feed him too though and I'm sure i would love the break ..I just don't know when the best time would be to switch it up ..between breast and bottle..
Breastfeeding and cant wait to do it! I heard the bond it creates between mother and baby is just absolutely amazing and I am so excited for that!
Breastfeeding for 12 months or longer!
Formula..i have never been able to breastfeed and yes its just as healthy
If its not the boob its not cool! Breastfeeding your baby is 100x better for you and the baby. You lose the weight your baby gains weight! Not to mention all the wonderful health factors for the baby, and you. Breastfeeding can lower your chances of getting breast cancer.
I want to breastfeed for the first 6 months as well
I'm breastfeeding but I'm also hoping to be pumping and bottle feeding. My daughter is 4 and is very excited to be able to feed her baby brother and she can't do that if I don't pump. It's also easier when I need a break if my husband to feed him as well. With my first I had the same plan but wasn't able to pump enough milk so we ended up breastfeeding and formula feeding, until eventually I couldn't supply enough so we switched completely to formula. I'm hoping this time to completely avoid formula and stick to just beast milk.
I plan to do a combination of breastfeeding, and pumping so my husband can enjoy the feedings as well.
I plan to breastfeed for a year or more.
With my first son all i wanted to do was breast feed but he was tongue tied so it was excruciating pain for me as he wouldn't latch on properly so i pumped but eventually my milk dried up. This time around I'm going to stick out the pain and try my very hardest to breast feed and not have to pump and i plan to feed as long as i have milk or until my little man starts getting teeth :)
I'm a FTM but I've been trying to educate myself as much as possible on breastfeeding. I've seen through family the benefits of breastfed babies and those who are just formula fed. I hope everything comes as natural to me as it tends to for baby... Any advice would be so much appreciated. My plan is to breastfeed for atleast the first yr. but again being a FTM I may want to stop sooner or go longer. We shall see! :)
I'm breastfeeding as long as possible. I breastfed my 1st for 3 yrs. My 2nd I fed him till 2 and this one till its ready to come off it. I go with when they're ready to stop. Of course as babies get older I'm not just breastfeeding I'm also giving them they're regular big people food. So how ever long 3rd one wants to feed that's how I'll provide.
I plan on breastfeeding for the first year like I did with my other 2 kids. Let's hope I can do it again lol
